Prayer of the Week 5 September 2021

Creator God, you spoke into the silence and darkness,
blowing clean life-giving air into space, warmth and life engulfed your creation.
Solid ground formed out of gushing water and life appeared.
You lovingly created the world and us.
Now you look with sadness at the mess we have made of your creation and our desperate attempts to re balance it.
Speak again, Lord, words of healing and consolation, for your servants desperately long to hear you.

Amen
