Prayer is at the heart of everything that a church is and does. This is true for us at Cornerstone. Prayer is central in our worship services, at weekends and through the week. There are opportunities to pray quietly on our own and together with others.
As a church we are praying for God’s vision for our future. The specific invitation is to join together in prayer, wherever you are, on Thursday evenings, between 9.00 and 9.30 pm. You may have time to sit and pray. You may be able to light a candle. Of course you can pray for God’s guidance for us at any time.
The Chapel is open through the week for private prayer. Flameless candles are available from Reception.
You may want someone to pray with you. Throughout much of the week there is a Pastoral Worker available to listen or to pray. The Ministers are also available to pray with you. Ask the Pastoral Worker or Receptionist.
There is a basket for written prayers in the entrance of the Chapel. These prayers are included in services on Sundays and through the week.
Cornerstone has an email prayer network of people who will pray for anyone who asks. If you would like prayers said for you through this network, please send your prayer requests to firstname.lastname@example.org. If your prayer request is for someone else, please check with them first.
We have daily prayers each weekday morning (Monday to Friday) at 9.00 am on this website and on the Living Stones WhatsApp group.
