New Glass Frontal Cross installed

On Thursday, 6 March the new cross was delivered and the right-hand half was installed.

Scaffolding had been erected so that the two massive glass sheets could be hoisted into position.

The scaffolding had to be left in place for a week while there was a delay in mounting the left-hand half of the cross. However, on Thursday, 13 March, the final piece was put in place and the scaffolding removed to reveal the bright new cross.
