Holy God, we adore you for who you are and what you have done.
You are the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end, creator, and sustainer of all that is.
We thank you for your wonderful gifts of grace and truth.
You have revealed yourself to us in your Word and in your works.
You have forgiven us our sins and healed our wounds.
You have filled us with joy and peace in believing.
We adore you, O God, with all our heart, soul, mind and strength.
Amen

God of the unknown journey, you call us to follow you,
even though we do not know where you might lead us.
You do not provide us a map, but you do offer yourself as guide and travelling companion.
You do not promise an easy path, blue skies, warm sun and pleasant company.
You simply asked us to follow you.
But You provide the nourishment and strength we need for the journey
and for that Lord we honour and glorify your name.
Amen

We thank you, Almighty God, for your Word;
the wisdom within your Scriptures is comfort and counsel to our mortal minds.
And we praise you, Lord, for the gift of your Son, who walked among us in wisdom;
we are blessed if we follow in his footsteps.
Thank you, Father, that there is wisdom to be found when we seek it,
earnestly desiring to be of one mind with you.
Amen

Creator God, thank you for the freedom you have given to us all.
Forgive us for the times humankind has abused that freedom and caused hurt,
breeding resentment, anger, and revenge.
Help us to see again your love for us all
and to commit ourselves to seeing your kingdom come on earth as in heaven.
Amen

Living God, like Nicodemus who came to Jesus in search of truth,
we too come seeking your wisdom and guidance for now and the days ahead.
Open our hearts and minds to the transforming power of your Holy Spirit.
Help us to understand the mystery of being born again,
and to embrace the new life you offer through Jesus Christ
who gathers us in your name and your Spirit that renews our faith day by day.
Amen

God of healing and peace,
As new creations in Christ may we go:
to witness to your power to renew us,
to overcome barriers that divide us,
and to show in our lives your reconciling love.
Amen

We come before you with hearts full of gratitude and praise.
Your steadfast love endures forever, and your faithfulness reaches to the heavens.
We thank you for being our strength and our song, and for becoming our salvation.
Lord, just as the psalmist rejoiced in your deliverance,
we too rejoice in the victory you have given us through Jesus Christ.
When we are pushed hard, feeling as if we are falling, you, Lord, are our help.
You are our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.
We will not fear, for you are with us all the days of our lives.
