WELCOME

Come, bring your praises and your pains.
Come, bring your joys and your sorrows.
Come, bring your thanks and your regrets.
Come, bring your hopes and your fears.
Come, bring all you are to God, and find blessing.

Silence

Merciful God, who directs our life,
we adore you.

Faithful God, who never changes,
we adore you.

Glorious God of forgiveness and second chances,
we adore you.

God of all nourishment,
we adore you.

All powerful, abundant God,
we adore you.
Amen.

We play a Hymn…
Father, hear the prayer we offer

CONFESSION

Faithful God, forgive us when we lose sight of what really matters;
when we get sidetracked by the trivial and the trite,
the superficial and the shallow.

Forgive us, and draw us back to your Son Jesus Christ,
who embodies all that is truthful, vital and eternal.

Silence

Creator God, thank you for hearing our prayers
and for your reassurance that we matter to you.

You love us so much and long for us to be fully rooted in you,
to rely on you and to reflect your forgiveness, grace and
redeeming love to all the world.

Amen.

READING

Psalm 25:4-10

Show me how you work, God;
School me in your ways.

Take me by the hand;
Lead me down the path of truth.
You are my Savior, aren’t you?

Mark the milestones of your mercy and love, God;
Rebuild the ancient landmarks!

Forget that I sowed wild oats;
Mark me with your sign of love.
Plan only the best for me, God!

God is fair and just;
He corrects the misdirected,
Sends them in the right direction.

He gives the rejects his hand,
And leads them step-by-step.

10 From now on every road you travel
Will take you to God.
Follow the Covenant signs;
Read the charted directions.

Conversation…

Prayers

Before the ending of the day,
Creator of the world, we pray
That you, with steadfast love, would keep
Your watch around us while we sleep.
From evil dreams defend our sight,
From fears and terrors of the night;
Tread underfoot our deadly foe
That we no sinful thought may know.
O Father, that we ask be done
Through Jesus Christ, your only Son;
And Holy Spirit, by whose breath
Our souls are raised to life from death.

Silence

Visit this place, O Lord, we pray,
and drive far from it the snares of the enemy;
may your holy angels dwell with us and guard us in peace,
and may your blessing be always upon us;
through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Amen.

THE LORD’S PRAYER

Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your Name,
your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread.
Forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us.
Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil.
For the kingdom, the power, and the
glory are yours now and forever.
Amen.

We play a Hymn…
Empty, Broken, Here I Stand (Kyrie Eleison)

The Conclusion

In peace we will lie down and sleep;
for you alone, Lord, make us dwell in safety.

Abide with us, Lord Jesus,
for the night is at hand and the day is now past.

As the night watch looks for the morning,
so do we look for you, O Christ.

The Lord bless us and watch over us;
the Lord make his face shine upon us and be gracious to us;
the Lord look kindly on us and give us peace.

Silence

The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ,
and the love of God,
and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit,
be with us all evermore.
Amen.

Let us bless the Lord.
Thanks be to God.
