Prayer of the Week 4 October 2026

Almighty God, in Jesus Christ,
you call us away from every false confidence and towards the joy of knowing him.
Build us upon Christ, the sure cornerstone; make us faithful stewards of your vineyard;
and, by your Spirit, enable us to bear the fruits of justice, mercy and peace,
as we press on towards the goal of your heavenly calling;
through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit,
one God, now and for ever.

Amen
