Prayer of the Week 27 March 2016 Easter

Risen Christ,
on that first Easter morning,
heartbreak turned to astonishment and joy.
We have followed the pain of your journey
through suffering and death.
Now we, too, long to meet with you,
and experience the fullness of joy.
