Good morning Living Stones

Let us meet in a spirit of genuine love, friendship, respect, and understanding.

Heavenly Father
We begin our day with thanksgiving to you
For protecting us throughout the night
We give thanks to You
For one of our greatest blessings
The gift of waking up to experience another day
We are encouraged by Your assistance
To develop a relationship with you and our fellow human
Inspire us, so that we may be encouraged to share space, peace, prayer, and worship
We are the oasis of Hope for the Nation
And we must make it our priority to build healthy, creative, responsible human relationships
Lord, we ask for wisdom to do what is right, to bring people together
To recognize when people need support to make things happen,
Stir us into action when we lack motivation

You created a perfect world,
Our disobedience has caused much heartache
Our world is in chaos, it is troubled by anxiety, depression, stress
We wear ourselves out worrying whether we will be able to cope
Lord, in You we take refuge

Let us create a welcoming space within us so that we are better able to welcome others
Treat everyone with respect
Learn from each other
Let us strive to be better human beings
And let not our vision be limited to our own way of thinking

{Pause for a moment to remember anyone you may wish to remember in prayer}

May we act with kindness when serving the needs of others come

We say the Lord’s Prayer

Our Father in heaven
Holy be your name
Your kingdom come
Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven
Give us today our daily bread
And forgive us our trespasses
As we forgive those who trespass against us
Aid us when we are exposed to temptation
Deliver us from all that is evil
For the Kingdom, the power and the glory are yours
Now, and forever
Amen
