God of love and, source of mercy and compassion,
weave your dream for the world into the fabric of our lives.
Remove the scales from our eyes and lift the indifference from our hearts,
so that we may see your vision and transform our lives, so that we may accomplish your purpose. Anoint us with your spirit of love that we might bring good news to the oppressed,
bind up the broken hearted, and proclaim release to the captive in Jesus’ name.
Amen

Almighty God, you have made us for yourself and our hearts are restless till they find their rest in you: pour your love into our hearts and draw us to yourself, and so bring us at last to your heavenly city, where we shall see you face to face; through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord, who is alive and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever.
Amen

Lord, as we gather here this morning there are so many reasons for us to be thankful:
for your provision day by day, for your blessings that are too numerous to count,
for your gift of the Sabbath, when we can join together in praise and to honour your holy name.
For the fellowship of our brothers and sisters here at the Church of Christ the Cornerstone
and for your goodness that forgives, heals, redeems, crowns and satisfies.
Amen

Almighty God, who sent your Holy Spirit to be the life and light of your Church:
open our hearts to the riches of your grace,
that we may bring forth the fruit of the Spirit in love and joy and peace;
through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord,
who is alive and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God, now and for ever.
Amen

Living God, we bless your name.
Bless your children as we gather to worship you.
We pray for your grace so that we may do good works in your name.
Fill us with the power of your Holy Spirit and open the floodgates of heaven
to shower us with your blessings.
Let us be refreshed through you in Jesus name.
Amen

Christ Jesus, you sit at the right hand of God.
As new creations in you we draw near, a community, worshipfully seeking more of you.
Our hearts soar with adoration and praise.
We give thanks to God for sending you to set us free.
Your name rings with the wisdom and riches of heaven.
In and through you, we have hope for the future.
Amen

Jesus, Lamb of God and Saviour, we come to praise your holy name this morning.
We humbly bow down before you, thankful that you save us daily from the snares of this world.
Thank you that in accepting you as Lord and Saviour,
we begin a new life with you, full of hope and promise.
Walk with us, we pray.
Amen

O God, you are the light of the minds that know you,
the life of the souls that love you,
and the strength of the wills that serve you:
help us to know you that we may truly love you,
and so to love you that we may truly serve you;
whom to serve is perfect freedom;
through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Amen

Gracious God, your generosity knows no bounds.
Through your Son Jesus Christ we inherit eternal life.
Your provision of love, wisdom and understanding brings unending praise to our lips.
May our adoration be evident by the fruit produced by the Spirit in us.
An abundant fruit, that we can share readily with others, bringing you glory in Jesus’ name.

Heavenly Father, we thank you for the beauty of the world around us;
for the love of family and friends, for work and play, for food and clothes,
for the happiness of good times, and the lessons from hard times.
Most of all we thank you for your grace shown in Jesus Christ your Son,
who sets us free from sin’s power so that we might serve in your Kingdom, for his sake.
Amen

Lord, you have taught us that all our doings without love are worth nothing send your Holy Spirit and pour into our hearts that most excellent gift of love, the true bond of peace and of all virtues, without which whoever lives is counted dead before you.
