Prayer of the Week 9 August 2026

Faithful God, you work out your purposes even through circumstances we do not understand.
As we enter this new week, grant us courage when the path is uncertain,
patience when progress seems slow, and wisdom when difficult decisions must be made.
Help us to trust your providence as Joseph learnt to trust you,
and give us boldness to proclaim Christ with confidence,
knowing that faith comes through hearing the good news.
Strengthen us by your Holy Spirit so that our lives may bear witness to your grace in every place we go.
